I have been married 23 years and we few months a go we had our first mfm threesome. At the time I thought it went well and enjoyed. We even had another threesome a few after our first with the same person but since then my husband has become a homosexual. Any opinion as to why my husband has become gay would be greatly appreciated.

To begin I struggle with how you define homosexual. Do you mean you believe that your husband is gay because there was some same sex contact in the threesome or do you mean he is gay due to the fact he has taken on a male lover after the threesome? If the former is true I would, in my opinion, say that your classification of him being gay is premature. In this author’s opinion being gay is a lifestyle choice defined by choices made over a period of time. Simply put if he is still having sex with you then he is not gay. The reason as to why same sex contact occurred in the threesome is due to the person you selected and your husband being comfortable enough with the situation to explore it. My guess would be it was a curiosity that will pass.

If the latter is true my initial feeling would be that having a threesome did not make him gay. My gut feeling say that he may have known for sometime and may even had a few same sex experiences without you even knowing. Plus if he has been honest with you in regard to his sexual history I would suspect that at some point when he was younger he did have some same sex contact.

To summarize in order to answer your question it all depends on how you define a threesome making your husband a homosexual. If you mean same sex activity occurred sex contact is not as common in mfm as it is fmf it could be that the situation was such that it allowed him to explore it. However if he has taken on a love then the threesome is not likely the reason.
