I have been deciding if I should write you or if I keep this to myself. Your site seems to be supportive and encourages openness so I thought I would write. Not to long ago my husband and I had a threesome, mfm to be exact. It all went fine but afterwards I felt hurt and abandoned not sure as to why all of this happened. Right now I am really confused and do not know what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the compliment as we always like to hear the good form our readers. To begin with it is not uncommon to feel somewhat confused or abandoned after a threesome especially if you are starting out. Threesomes are a confusing situation due to the fact there is no reference in society for what is acceptable or how to cope. The only person you have to turn to in order to work through it is your partner. I would suggest, if you have not already, take some time to talk through the experience including feelings and issues that might have come up. Also I am left to wonder if this threesome was not rushed or at least the two of you did not talk about having a threesome to any great extent. Sometimes talking beforehand can alleviate some feelings and sometime working together on planning the threesome can bring a couple together. Finally I am left to wonder if the invited male was somewhat disruptive to the relationship maybe trying to get ‘some’ on the side for himself without your husband knowing.

In any event it is important that you work through your feelings with your husband. Remember sometimes some residual feelings may be left from having a threesome and it may pass with time. The more you talk about the experience and your feelings the more likely you will begin to feel better sooner.
